Steer clear of this charger at all expense, as a different reviewer stated, it is surely wired incorrectly. When I inserted the charger into the helicopter, the blades began to spin even even though the helicopter was in the off position. I then smelled smoke....coming from my computer. This lovely small charger shorted out two of my USB ports on my laptop leaving a lovely burnt smell. Be conscious DO NOT Obtain Stars
I took a likelihood just after reading some negative reviews about reverse polarities and such, and purchased this cable to charge my RC Combat Helicopters that I bought at Brookstone at Christmas time. This cable works terrific for me. You plug it in to your helicopter and then the laptop. Wait for the red light to glow at the USB finish, unplug and fly away. For 3 bucks it really is a no brainer.
