Okay, I bought this helicopter on a whim. I'm currently serving in Iraq with the US Army and each and every as soon as and a whilst (seldom), we get some down time. My battle buddy has a handful of smaller RC helicopters which she flies each when and when. I had a single of those before but they just go up and down, possibly a handful of circles but that is it. I wanted a RC helicopter mainly because I adore flying, and I have about an hour down time prior to I go to bed. So I got the Chinook considering that it really is a Chinook. 2 blades are greater than 1, correct? It came in and I was surprised by how significant it was mainly because I believed it was going to be smaller. I was also concerned with the truth that the rotors are loose (no worries, this is suppose to be like that, it flies fine with the rotors like that.) The instruction booklet is poorly translated but its not that complicated. I finally took out for the first time and it was Incredible! I didn't have to set the trim or anything! It flew like a dream and everybody was impressed with it! Even my battle buddy who says its ten occasions improved than hers! It only takes a minute to get use to. I was even able to get it to land and fly to my hand. It has wonderful manage and it last longer than those smaller helos (we tested that out...). I Very Advocate THIS. This wouldn't be so excellent for an individual younger but it is definately a wonderful obtain. I'm highly impressed! As soon as I get dwelling from my deployment I program to buy a few alot more just in case they cease producing these items. Hands down coolest rc helo for the value. Seriously superb toy for the price tag. I have had some of those mini RC helicopters just before, and honestly for twice the cost of one of those this heli is nicely worth the value. The steering takes a small acquiring applied to, think of it as a hover craft rather than a automobile on wheels. You get the hang of it in no time, and a charge seems to final a decent 10-15 minutes. Plus, and this is a substantial plus, there are no batteries to replace accept in the controller. he helicopter itself charges from a wall outlet. The craft is a fairly good size, about 16" long I would guess. The lights on the craft are great, it has 2 on either engine in the back, and a red and green a single underneath it. I have been buzzing this thing around my residence ever since Christmas, it is to substantially entertaining. The only thing I would say to perspective buyers is the steering is not dead on precise but it is tons much better than the low-cost RC copters out there, and is really easy to use.
